Sridevi would have signed a film with Karan Johar

Sridevi Kapoor, who died in Dubai, at the age of 54. An autopsy revealed that the iconic actress accidentally drowned in the bath of her hotel. She was in the UAE to attend the wedding of cousin Mohit Marwah with other members of her family. Only Janhvi had skipped the wedding parties due to work obligations. Karan Johar also attended the Mohit wedding.

Sridevi would have signed a film with Karan Johar. Mumbai Mirror reports that the film would go up from April. They would start filming in April. but life became uncertain and Sridevi was taken away before Karan had the chance to work with her for the first time, “says the source of the company’s Next Superstars. India, judges Karan Johar, told Mumbai Mirror.

Karan Johar produces Dhadak, the first Bollywood film by Sridevi’s eldest daughter, Janhvi. “Karan revealed that Sridevi was happy when he proposed to launch his daughter Janhvi to Dhadak, exactly a week later he returned home to ask if she could be part of another Dharma film he had.

Janhvi’s Dhadak, also performed by Ishaan Khatter, is supported by Dharma Production by Karan Johar. Sridevi had never worked with him before. Dhadak is directed by Shashank Khaitan and will be released in July.

Sridevi was cremated with state authorities in Mumbai last Wednesday. During the weekend, her husband Boney Kapoor, her daughters Janhvi and Khushi went to Rameshwaram to immerse her ashes. Sridevi was last seen in MOM. The last appearance of Sridevi (posthumous) will be in Shah Rukh Khan’s next film.
