NEW DELHI: New World Miss Manushi Chhillar met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday. Manushi was accompanied by his parents and his brother.
“Manushi Chhillar, Miss World 2017 relies on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi,” said a tweet from a press information bureau (FRP).
The beauty queen was elegantly dressed in a set of contemporary ivory ethnic dress and silver earrings, with her hair pulled back into a bun.
Before meeting Modi, the 20-year-old Haryana tweeted: “Excited to meet the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, it’s really motivating for me to be in the presence of a man that I I admired. ”
On November 18, Manushi won the coveted Miss World Championship 2017 at a major event at the Sanya City Arena in China, ending India’s 17-year dry spell during the match. Priyanka Chopra won the crown in 2000.
Manushi, who belongs to Haryana, is the sixth Indian to win the coveted title. The other Indians who won the crown are Reita Faria, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Diana Hayden and Yukta Mookhey.
