A man was found lying on railway tracks at the Kurla Railway Station in Mumbai and attempted suicide. The passengers who were there immediately jumped from the platform to rescue him. The incident took place around 1.30 PM on Monday afternoon. This is recorded in the CCD camera of the station.

Narendra Damaji Kotekar (54) is a security person. He decided to commit suicide by carrying out family burden with financial difficulties. He came to the railway station and fell on the rails. Before arriving on the train platform, the passengers and the Railway Protection Force personnel were included on the platform. Kotekar gave this information to the family and was handed over after counseling.
